The D50, D70, D70s and D100 have excellent power-consumption, but sometimes, having to change-out batteries can be a hassle, and sometimes, you need complete assurance for very long exposures. That is where this device comes in handy. Very handy, at that. As long as your camera is plugged up with this, it has limitless power... so you can continue those super long BULB shots or use it in compliance with an ever-repeating slideshow on your television screen (when connected with a separately-sold A/V cable that comes with your camera). The EH-5 AC Adapter is the perfect acces for those of you who use your camera for long periods of time, and want an easier way to charge the battery, without having to remove the battery from the machine. Excellent. 5/5 Stars.
