I bought this eyepiece and leave it on my camera most of the time, however it magnifies the finder too much and I have to strain a bit to read the viewfinder info at the bottom. I take a lot of portraits that don't require me to look down at the info. I do not recommend this for landscape or architecture. For most portrait shooting this let's me better ensure focal point accuracy. Looks cool on the camera. It protrudes out quite far and can be very annoying when on a strap in either the neck or shoulder positions. I suggest taking it off for walkabouts/hikes/theme parks.
